There are 2 metrostops 5 minutes walking, Delacroix and Clemenceau. The international station (International Railway Station: TGV, Thalys, Eurostar, Eurolines, MegaBus, Charleroi Airport Shuttle and to much taxis) South Station (Midi-station) is 12 minutes walking Car: There are place in the street or near the canal for free. About the area: Just near is the Abatoir where is a market every friday till sunday from 9-14h with their unique meat and fish halls and a lot cheap, but not always the best exotic vegetables. South Market at the station 'Midi' is every Sunday from 10-14h. Flee market is a little bit further every day in the morning-noon, where is also a Bio-market with reasonable prices. There you've Recyclart, Fuse, Bazaar for clubbing & Les Brigitinnes for dance perfomance. Near the canal you can walk/bike to Raffinerie, Quai, i-mal, Q-O2, Kaaitheater, Mima, Magazin 4, The Lodge, VKconcerts where are performances in dance & music. The other direction leads you to the wonderful nature, like Hallerbos, for the hikers and bikers. Other side of the canal is Anderlecht commune with some cute middle age streets and less expensive restaurants, parks...
