General description EUR440 month all in except insurance – 1 furnished bedroom to rent in a penthouse in Laeken (Roi Baudoin) as from the 1st Augustus 2016. Collocation/flat-sharing: appartemen to share with an Italian trainee, a German trainee and myself (I will be away most of the time). Room to be rented to young professionals/trainees/international students for a minimum of 3 months. The area Rooms to rent in an apartment located in a quiet area close to the metro (underground) station Roi Baudouin (French spelling or Koning Boudewijn in the Dutch spelling) and the “ring” (motorway around Brussels). Very easy parking in front of the apartment (free from 6pm and on Sundays but parking cards are available at the city of Brussels if you want to park your car for a longer period). Close by : tourist attractions and shopping centre of the Heysel (i.e. cinema), supermarkets and parks. The penthouse The room is part of a recently built (2007/2008) duplex penthouse. It comprises of 137 gross sq m (+ 2 terraces and a cellar). The 4 individual bedrooms and the bathroom (double sink, bath and shower) and a toilet are located on the third floor while a second toilet, kitchen, dining room, living room and the two terraces (back and front, respectively 17 and 11 sq m) are on the fourth floor (last floor of the building). There is no lift. Nice view on the Atomium and clear view on a large square. Lots of natural light. Videophones and security door. New washing machine.The kitchen is well equipped (new large fridge and freezer, electric cooker, microwave, kitchen utensils and dishes but no dishwasher). Wifi. Energy performance : C-. ; CO2 emission level: 31. The common parts of the apartment are cleaned twice a week by a cleaning lady. The room The room has been repainted (+ new lights and new blinds) and equipped with new pieces of quality furniture. This room has its own balcony and shower. You can also store for free some of your belongings in the cellar. Contract Domiciliation possible. The room will be covered by a one year contract and a deposit equivalent to two months rent is required. Shorter rental period is also possible (preferably no shorter than 3 months). Requirements You are ideally a young international professional, a trainee or an international student. You speak at least English. Smoking only allowed on the terraces. No pets. You are considerate with regard to the other tenants and the occupants of the building block and take care of the apartment (it has been newly painted and furnished!).
